Chapter 84

Kelsey's POV:

I woke up after a long sleep, I dreamed a lot, and there was the most realistic dream. I opened my eyes and found myself lying in Brian's lap, he was sleeping, and his face was so gentle that my heart softened. I thought I was dead and could never see Brian again, but thank God, I can still see him the same way when I die.

My hand trembled slightly, thinking it was a dream, so I dared more than usual; I touched Brian's face and stroked it a few times. This genuine feeling makes my eyes hot; I want to cry.

I closed my eyes sadly; maybe when I opened them again, I won't be able to see Brian anymore, but I needed strength to get out of this dream.

But before I could open my eyes, a familiar hoarse voice rang in my ears, making me pause. "Are you awake already?"
