Chapter 90

For a moment, I couldn't digest Harvey's words. Even though I feel Brian's change for me, I don't think behind him is because I do so many things. I heard a painful story four years ago. At that time, Brian was an arrogant and powerful commander; for some reason, he went mad and, in one night, slaughtered most of the army he led into the forest. But unexpectedly, he accepted to arouse that pain for me again today, making the wound that had been asleep before bleed again.

I pursed my lips, watching Brian's back from behind without being moved. 'Dad, Mom, your daughter has met the right person.'

Harvey patted me on the shoulder; he gave me a gentle look. "Thanks to your presence, you brought Brian out of the shadows and let him resurrect once more."

I looked up at Harvey, thought for a moment, then asked. "Sir Harvey, the people below are..."
