Brian's POV:

After receiving the news from Harvey, I rushed to the frozen area. No wonder I'm in a bad mood today; in the morning, when I saw Kelsey standing in front of the house door, I almost rushed out to keep her. But when I remember those words that day and Kelsey's cold attitude, my legs suddenly froze; I have never been this weak, but it was the first time I felt helpless.

She's clearly in front of me; why don't I reach out and pull her back to my chest?

Ever since the day, I found out Kelsey would peek into the house from time to time, I've formed a habit from time to time. I often stand at the window and look at my mate's image. That night, I didn't know what she was thinking; I just saw her silently standing in the cold for a long time. She was wearing only a thin T-shirt and ruffled pants, and it hurt to see her like that, but I knew if I stepped down, Kelsey would run away.

My train of thought was interrupted when I heard a woman's high-pitched voice. "I don't know whom y
