264. Lied To Him

Lucas took a considerable amount of time, staring at the phone.

His eyes finally strayed to Grandpa Winston before he left.

On his way back home, he kept thinking about the text messages, not wanting to believe it was real.

When he reached the Harrison Villa, Lucas was so lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice the extra car inside the parking lot.

He walked into the house to be greeted by the loud cry of the maid.

“Ahhh! Ms. Carlson - I mean, Young Miss. Please, I apologize! I will never repeat that -”

“Smack!”

The loud sound of a slap echoed in the house.

“How dare you, you filthy girl! If you loved your life, you wouldn't have told Lucas that I stole his money.”

“I swear I didn't tell Mr. Harrison anything, Young Miss,” Mira wailed. “Please believe me.”

Tracy's hand was raised in the air, ready to slap the maid again, when Lucas walked into the living room.
