270. Good Riddance

Chaos broke out. The whole hall went into a frenzy.

A few hours later, all members of the Oslens Household were lined up in the hallway of Phoenix City's First Hospital.

From those walking back and forth in anxiousness to those leaning by the wall with an air of tension surrounding them, a foreboding atmosphere hung around the emergency room area.

“Why are they taking so long?” Grandpa Jeffery glanced at his wristwatch as sweat poured down his face.

“She only fainted, didn't she?” Regina furrowed her brows, her eyes filled with worry. “I hope nothing bad has happened to her.”

“How can anything bad happen to her?” Caleb sat beside her, struggling to hide his own anxiety which he failed to. “We have to relax. Heidi must have been too excited about the wedding.”

“This is strange,” Kate, who was standing beside her brother, said. “Heidi was fine while we were inside her room. How could she just faint out of nowhere?”
