At The Harrisons Villa.

Heidi stood in front of the large doors that led to the study room, lifting her hand to knock, yet she halted before her hand reached the door.

What was she doing?

She could just walk out of the Villa without seeking his consent, right?

The idea of staying with Lucas didn't settle well with her.

But the man had kept her under tight security. She wondered if she would be able to leave easily by not putting up a fight.

Instead of knocking, Heidi pushed the door open.

Lucas sat across from his work desk, his narrowed eyes fixed on the computer's screen, seemingly not in a good mood.

However, the instant he lifted his head and saw her, his eyes lit up.

“Do you need anything?” He asked with a desperation that spelled if she needed anything, he'd scour the earth to find it for her.

“No.” Pursing her lips, Heidi stepped towards his desk. “I still don't want to live here.”

“I thought we were over that topic.” He swiveled his chair and pulled her onto his lap.
