263. Heidi In Trouble

After Lucas left with Grandpa Winston, the other family members came inside, each throwing questions at her to satisfy their curiosities.

“Why did they come, Heidi?”

“Did you invite them?”

“Do you have a thing going on with your ex-husband?”

“What were you guys discussing? Why did you lock the door?”

Heidi held her forehead, acting as if she was in pain. “You guys are thinking too far. Why would I have a thing going on with Lucas when my wedding with Steve is in three days?”

Everyone else seemed to believe her, except for Steve who gave her a distrustful look.

Regina flicked her on the forehead. “Will you not repeat that next time? Don't you know how displeased your grandfather is? He has left the hospital because of that.”

“Grandpa Winston was my best friend while I was in the Harrisons Household. Mum, I had to give him some face.”

“Giving him some face doesn't mean you had to invite him and his Grandson here.”
