Chapter 1: Into the Woods
"In the wilderness, my soul strums to the rhythm of uncured bliss."
THIRD PERSON'S POV
Blurry Vision of the place, that's the first thing she saw. She keeps on blinking her eyes until the vision was clear. At first, the darkness welcomes her and the eerie feeling of the surroundings. An eleven-year-old white-haired girl loses her way back home. The cold gush of the wind made her a little shiver, but she handles it well, due to her unique existence.
She looked around and adjusted her cleared senses at night. The scene zooms out on her eyes, seeing big Mangrove Trees, Tall Cupressus, and Birch Trees. The big barks of it and the grassy surroundings made her shiver. She's in the middle of the dark forest, that only the moon gives light to the whole area. And as she was just a little girl, who can't do anything whatever may happen.
"Mom? Dad?" She said. She was trying to locate their scent through the air by sniffing it. She was just disappointed when she failed to locate them. She started to get nervous, knowing that she can't find them there. She was all alone in these dark woods. Her flesh started to tense up, caused her to feel the tension in this area.
'This was bad…' She traced herself and was shocked. She was wearing a white nightdress that suits her little body. And gasped when she saw her feet barefoot. It was full of dirt and mud. She can felt a little pain on it, but it's manageable to walk.
She walked and suspiciously looking in the surroundings. She doesn't even know why she's here. She hugs herself as she follows the dark-lit pathway full of green crawling plants. Her instinct tells her so, to go in this direction. She thinks that maybe she could find someone out there.
She is now having ghost bumps, stepping feet by foot in the unknown direction of the place. But, she stops from her track hearing the familiar call of her origin.
Awoooooooooo… Awoooooooooo
Her ears perked up, hearing the dying howls of the wolves, three kilometers from where she is right now. Some are growling and some are whimpering in pain. She attentively sniffs the air and smells the mixed blood of wolves and were-rogues. She frowned when she smells the unknown scent of what creature it was. She just continues sniffing until her tears started to fall on her innocent eyes.
Her heart started thumping fast, along with her nervousness.
"This can't be happening. I hope I am wrong with my suspicion." She whispered.
"N-o! No… I'm just hallucinating their scents." Trying to believe herself, but she knows deep down in her heart that there's a possibility it's her parents. No. It's not possible because she can say they are her parent's scent. She immediately wipes her tears and acted strong. She deeply breathes and readies herself, with determination.
With her inhuman speed, she runs the dark forest going in the direction of the howling wolves. She didn't even bother her swelling feet, having multiple scratches come from the branches of the trees or the edgy grasses, that she passed on to. All she could think of was to get to that place right away.
After five minutes, she reached the place where the werewolves are. She was panting heavily, as she ran going to her destination. She wipes the dripping sweat off her forehead with her hands and looks at the chaotic view of the place.
Burning Nipa Houses, Dead bodies of the naked werewolves came from their wolf shift. Scattered bloodstains on the ground. Whimpering sounds of her kind who's nearer to their death. All is a mess.
She feels the horror and trembling of the almost turn-out hell place. She scans the place, looking for her family. She runs and started to search and locate where they are. She did not bother to look at the dying bodies of the werewolves and sprint as fast as she can.
By her heightened senses, she can clearly see the only cabin standing in this Area. She can clearly smell the scent of her parents.
"They're here… Mom…Dad… wait for me." The little white-haired girl runs towards the open door of the cabin container. She was welcome by the intoxicating smells of the were-rogue that almost made her puke.
"Oh…The little white-haired princess is here to rescue her royalty bastard parents…" She gasped when her senses adjusted the darkroom.
Her parents part-hanging unconsciously on the wall. Each of their hands we's tied up by a metal chain with silver. Her father was full of bruises and blood, while her mother had a reddened chest and ripped clothes. She can smell the aroused juices of the filthy wolves. A tinkling sensation made her building anger.
"Mo-m? Dad?" She stuttered. She quickly shuts her eyes, when the bending of light, lightens the area inside the cabin. When she recovers, she opens her eyes, and she was right it's her parents.
"Surprised!" The man said with full of sarcasm. He was wearing half silver masked, which covers half of his face. He looks regal with his unbuttoned shirt showing his half-naked body. When he saw the white-haired girl, a smirk crept on his face, growl, and show his sharp claws.
"What did you do to my parents? Release them or else I will kill you with my hands." The white-haired girl partly shifts, showing her fangs and furry hands with claws.
"Ha-ha Feisty… You are a brave little one. But, you can't scare and beat me! You're just a waste of time!" The girl almost gasped in a word, hearing she angered the half-mask man. She remains stoic, although her hands and legs started to get lump by fear.
'This cabin was filled with were-rogue, but why a man like him accompanied these evil creatures?' The half-mask man is not a rogue. He is a well-sheltered wolf.
'Why he sided to this rogues?'
"Now…She was just ruining our mood here. It's time for her to see her beloved parent's show. Rogue, hold her tightly and let her watch how his parent's died." A were-rogue harshly grabs her, but she immediately clawed the rogue's chest resulting in his early death.
'None will mess up with my family or else death will be your sweet abomination.'
