Hera was sitting in Sean's luxurious car. Yes, she was there because of Sean. Whatever he had said to David earlier remained a mystery.

“You haven’t had breakfast,” Sean suddenly remarked.

“How do you know that?” Hera asked in return.

“I overheard your conversation earlier,” Sean replied briefly.

Hera paused for a moment. Ah, the conversation she had with David, of course. But didn’t she speak softly when talking to David?

Lost in her thoughts, Hera was surprised to realize they had arrived at a restaurant. Sean had taken her to an upscale establishment.

“We should have breakfast first before continuing,” Sean said as he stepped out of the car.

Hera furrowed her brow. Continuing what, exactly?

Still puzzled, Hera quickly followed Sean into the restaurant, knowing he would be upset if she lingered.

She had already expected the restaurant to be fancy. This man always seemed to surround himself with luxury.
