After they both arrived at their destination, Hera quickly exited the car and made her way toward the hospital, not even stopping at the reception desk.

"Mom, I’m here," Hera murmured softly as she stood in front of her mother Margaret’s hospital room.

"Hera, my daughter."

Hera immediately embraced her mother. She was clearly delighted by Margaret’s enthusiastic response to her presence.

"I’m sorry, because—"

"Mom, there’s no need to apologize. It’s better if you get more rest. There are plenty of TV shows we need to catch up on once you’re home," Hera said, chuckling.

"Of course," Margaret replied to her daughter.

Suddenly, Thomas appeared between them.

"Ah, Mom, do you remember this friend of mine?" Hera asked Margaret.

Margaret looked at Thomas, who smiled warmly back at her.

"Thomas," Margaret said softly.

"Yes, Mom, it’s good to see you again," Thomas responded, smiling.

Thomas’ gaze shifted toward Hera, who was beaming as she looked at her mother.

"Hera, do you—"
