Sean let out a deep sigh, feeling more exhausted than usual due to the way work had unfolded today. Things hadn’t gone as smoothly as he’d hoped.

“It’s not really a big problem, I just tend to be too much of a perfectionist,” Sean muttered to himself.

His eyes flickered to his phone as it buzzed on his desk. A text had just come through.

“Hey, darling. Can we meet tonight? I miss you.”

Sean frowned at the message, puzzled. He couldn’t even recall who had sent it.

“Who the hell is this?” he murmured, placing the phone down without replying.

Almost immediately, the phone buzzed again, this time with a call from the same number. Annoyed but curious, he picked it up.

"Sean, why are you silent? It's me, Vivi. You don't have my number saved?"

The familiar flirtatious tone instantly annoyed him, but he stayed silent, listening to the voice.

"Sean? Come on, say something. I even took time off just to fly to New York and visit you."

"I didn’t ask you to come here," he finally said, irritatio
