Chapter 77

In what seemed like a deserted house, three men were found inside talking in hushed tones. The light slowly revealed one of them to be Jake with other allies. His expression was completely void with coldness emanating from his aura. He bit his lips and scanned the empty sitting room then looked back at the other guys. "I want to understand what happened here? How could your men not get the job done? It was a simple task and you all failed woefully." He spat out spitefully. "I asked to get one lady abducted and you failed." By then his gaze was directed at the man on his right hand who had an aloof expression.

Apparently the building they were in served as where Selena had been kept when she was abducted. To their surprise, they returned to find the place empty and Selena gone with men stationed to guard her on the floor, knocked out.
