Chapter 79

The hairs at the back of her ears stood up when realization hit Maria. She didn't want to believe what her mind was telling her. Did she just get deceived?

"What do you mean by that and where is my friend?" She stormed to the place he stood and positioned herself in front of him with her arms crossed on her chest. He eyed her furiously. "You are my girl and I do whatever I want with you. As for your friend, I wish I had her. Too bad I don't."

Tears welled up in her eyes yet Maria wouldn't let them fall, "you are lying. You promised to let her go when I come. Fulfill your end of the bargain." She cried out. He wasn't moved by the tears in her eyes, he rather was delighted that she was in so much pain. The joy of seeing her break down makes his day every time. Maria was a fool for long to think he ever loved her, all the time she dated him she didn't get to understand the kind of person he is. He was always using her vulnerability against her.

"I wish I was lying, I would have made Si
