"Your friend is okay." Caleb said, settling beside Maria on the bed.

Over the last few 24 hours after Maria faced the biggest fear of her life, she hadn't been able to put her racing heart at a place. She felt jumpy most of the time and Caleb had done his possible best to put her at ease.

"She has been taken home and she is recovering." He added, reassuringly, pulling her to himself.
