Claire rushed out, trying to catch up to him.

What have you done now?

Oh come on, I wasn’t even that bad.

Face it!, her conscience spoke.

“I didn’t mean it—” Claire yelled after Lucas, as the two boys seated turned their heads back. Lucas smiled shyly, walking back to the flushed Claire.

“It’s nothing, guys,” he shouted, turning his face to Darren and James. The two boys glanced at each other, confused.

“That’s just going to make it more embarrassing,” Claire mumbled, hitting his chest slightly. “You don’t have an iota of shame in you!” she whisper-yelled.

Lucas chuckled, drowning Claire’s figure in his, from the view downstairs. Lucas stood in front of Claire and stretched out his hands. “Wanna go to the balcony?” he asked, pausing for a bit to smile.

I can’t resist that stupid gummy smile. I hate him.

“Sure, but I can hold my own hand,” she scoffed and swung her long hair right across his face.

He huffed and chuckled, making his way to the balcony behind her.
