Claire burst into her room and shut the door behind it, she leaned against the door, laughing frantically.

Lucas knocked on the door and called out, “Hey just let me explain…. please.” bringing his tone down at the last part.

“You’re only making it more embarrassing by doing this, you know.” She said through muffled laughs.

Lucas heaved and left her door.

Claire plopped on her bed and took her phone out of the cabinet. She seemed to have forgotten all her sadness in one go.
