    {ONE WEEK LATER }

“So what your point exactly “Bella said clearly bored looking at Ben.

“Damn! You are so unbelievable. Have been telling you the same thing for the past 1 hour and you keep asking what my point . I need to hit something on your head ..Seriously “Ben said frustratedly.

“Well do and say your last prayer “Bella grinned with an evil smile.

“You are so scary, “Ben said shifting back a little.

“Yeah I know “Bella smiled flipping her hair back dramatically.

It's been a week already. Time is moving really fast. Ben and Riss text almost every day and they have gotten really close.

Kizzy, Flora, and Riss are bonding even tho Riss doesn’t really feel comfortable around them.

Yeah, a week has passed and Ben still hasn’t heard her voice. She preferred to text.

Bella and Ben became friends as Ben is always bumping into her every morning when going to school. They walk together before they have to part ways at a junction and go their separate ways.

Bella reluctantly told Ben her name the third day and since then they have strangely become friends.

Presently, Ben is at Bella’s backyard seeking her advice but she seems not to be interested.

“Just help me out, “He said

“I don’t know what you want me to do. You wanna ask her out then fine, go ahead “She said.

“I mean ask her on a date “He corrected.

“same thing “Bella rolled her eyes.

“Then what stopping you ?”She asked him.

“Am just scared. What if she says no “

“Then you eat pizza and move on, “Bella said smiling.

“Common ...” Ben frowned.

“Do you like -like this girl you are talking about “

“Yes. Have never felt this way for a girl before. I really do like her. It's too early I know but I just want to go on a date with her that all “Ben explained.

For the past one week, He have been having this tingling feeling around Riss .

He have fallen for her, No doubt about that.

“Let me have your phone “Bella demanded.

“For what ?”

“Let. Me. Have. Your .phone “Bella repeated sternly and Ben quickly handed his phone to her.

Bella smiled and texted Riss.

~Let go on a date ~

She handed his phone back to him.

“Thank me later, “She said flipping her hair with a satisfactory smile.

Ben's eyes widened eyes on seeing the message and made to delete it but Riss saw the message already.

“Oh-oh !”Ben shoot himself with his fingers and fell on the floor dramatically.

   

Flora smiled warmly as she sat down.

“Am glad you made it “Nick said as he stared at her.

They both agreed to go on a friendly date after a week of texting each other.

“Yeah, I promised “Flora smiled.

She is practically going crazy inside of her. She can’t believe she is on a date with her crush.

The waiter came to their table and they ordered food.

Flora and Nick engaged in a conversation immediately after the waiter brought their food.

....” So you mean you haven’t kissed before ?”Flora asked again looking at him unbelievably.

“Am serious babe. My lips are still virgin “He winked. Flora’s heart skipped a bit hearing him call her ‘babe ‘.

“What about you “He asked.

“Same as you “She lied.

She have kissed twice but she did not want Nick to know that so he wouldn’t see her differently in a bad way.

“Wow !that good !”He smiled.

Flora breaths out feeling kind of bad lying.

“So you do you like have a guy you like or you are dating ?”Nick asked.

...” OMG! He is going to ask me out ...” Flora thought.

“No, Am still very much single. Still waiting for the right guy “

“You are a very beautiful girl ...You would see a good guy very soon “He smiled

Flora nods sadly.

“What about you ...You are currently dating someone ?”Flora asked.

“No, but I like a girl tho it's one-sided. She doesn’t like me at all “Nick answered.

“Kizzy ?”Flora voiced out her thought.

“Yes. I really do like her .like a lot “

“Then why this ?”Flora asked trying her best not to tear up.

“What do you mean? “He asked.

“Why are you been nice to me ?, Why did you ask me to go on a date with you when you are in love with my best friend “

“It's a friendly date. I thought I said it in my text “

“I know. You know what ....Am leaving “Flora said and stands up.

“Woah !”Nick also stands up and quickly holds her hand before she can leave.

“What's wrong ?”He asked as tears have begun to form in her eyes.

“Just let me go Nick “she managed to say.

“Let me drive you home “he offered.

“No, Thank you, “She said. Removed her hands from his and rush out of the restaurant cleaning her tears.

“Does she like me?”Nick asked himself bewildered.

Ben stared at Rissa’s reply for the umpteenth time.

Riss-Why do you want to go on a date with me?

Ben signed frustratedly and scratch his head. He is currently in his bedroom.

He left Bella‘s house some minutes ago because she said she needed a nap.

Ben-I just wants to have a nice time with you ...Outside of school.

           

He sent and took a deep breath. Riss's message came in few minutes later.

Riss -Let me ask for my mom’s consent first.

Ben -No problem.

  He drops his phone and laid on his bed staring at the ceiling.

“Mom !”Riss yelled rushing to the kitchen.

Her mom turned and saw her daughter holding her phone happily.

“Mom, My friend ask me out on a date, “She said happily.

Her mom gasped and quickly off the gas cooker and drags Riss to the living room.

“Are you serious “Her mom communicated in sign language

“Yes, mom. Can I ?”She asked.

“Oh my God !”Her mom said to herself happily.

She is happy someone is friends with her daughter.

She knows rissa is always lonely but there is nothing she can do.

She is happy her daughter finally have a friend.

Her mom nods in response and Riss hugs her happily.

She quickly texted Ben.

Riss -Yes,I will go on a date with you .
