{The Gold’s Residence}

Rissa sat in the living room with Samson as the two discussed.

“Am leaving already baby “Samson said in sign language.

  ...*SIGN LANGUAGE IS A SYSTEM OF COMMUNICATION USING VIRTUAL GESTURES/SIGNS ,AS USED BY DEAF PEOPLE ....*

Samson, Rissa, and her mom took sign language class for two months or so and they got so perfect they can communicate with Rissa without having to type their words or write them down if they wanna talk to her.

Her dad didn’t take the classes with them as he claimed he is busy and don’t have time for that .

Rissa signed sadly .”Why leaving so soon ?”She asked sadly .

“Have to attend to some things “he replied in sign language standing up.

He only comes to the house just for Rissa.He is always busy but always make sure he try to hang out with his Little sis .

Rissa nods sadly not saying a word .

Samson kissed her cheek .*He showed his hand with a raised index finger and his pinky finger and extended his thumb *The action means ‘I love you ‘in sign language.

“I love you too bro.Come pick me up at school tomorrow too “Riss said and he nods signaling okay .

She stands up and hugged him tightly .She loved her brother .No doubt about that.

Riss went to her room immediately Samson left .Her dad had gone to work as usual while her mom had gone to the grocery shop .

She was home alone at the moment .

She jumped on her bed and picked her phone that was lying on her bed .

She opened it and saw a message from an unknown number .She clicked it knowing who it was already .

              IMESSAGE

Ben -Hi ,it me Ben .

Text me when you see my message.

Riss -Hi Ben.

                                                                

Ben -How are you doing ?

Riss-Wow,that was fast.Were you expecting my message.

Ben-To be honest,Yes.i thought you don’t want to reply me.

Riss-Not really.My phone wasn’t with me.i was with my bro.

Ben -Wow!You have a bro!

Elder or younger?

Riss -Elder bro.Am the only girl.

                                                      

Ben-Oh ,so it your bro

You were with yesterday ?

Riss-Yes.So are you the only child or you got siblings ?

Ben -Am the only child .But it really boring being an Only child .I wished I have an elder bro tho.To always fight with  ,Play video games and so

On or maybe have a younger Sis .

Riss-Maybe you will in your next life.Just saying tho.                                         

                                              

Ben -Lol .Well ,Amen.

Riss-Can I ask a question?

                                                  

Ben -Sure

Rissa-Why do you want to be friends with me?

                                            

Ben -I don’t really know why

But I just want to be your friend .The students at school are just So dumb to have missed having

a friend like you .

Riss-Wow!,Thanks.But you hardly know me.

                                            

Ben-I want to know you .I really want to know

You more .

Riss-Won’t hurt having you as a friend.

Gotta go.i have to do my assignment.Will chat with you later.

                                               

Ben -Well have done mine .

          20 minutes later ,No reply .

Ben -Okay bye .

THAT SAME DAY ...

(10:56pm )

Samson leaned on his car as he stared at the girl he had fallen in love with it .

He caressed her cheek and tuck her hair behind her ear .

“I love you Suzy ...,I really do and I don’t want to ever lose you “He said .

“You are always talking about not wanting to lose me .Am not going anywhere .I love you too .Like so damn much .We aren’t ending “She said smiling at him

“I hope so “He said with a sad voice .

“Common smile okay ....I have to go inside now .It late already “She said glancing at her wrist watch .

“Okay baby ...I will give you a call “He smiled .

They kissed briefly and Suzy waved at him as she walked to her front door .

Ben waved back and entered his car and zoomed off .

Suzy brought out the spare key and opened the door quietly .She entered only to find her mom on the couch with her little sister seated on the couch .

The looks they were giving her wasn’t funny at all .

“And where are you coming from by this time of the night ?!”Her mom asked with an angry face .

“I ......I .....”She stammered .

“You what !”Her mom half yelled making her flinch .

“You are hanging out with that good for nothing boy again and look at the time you are coming home .Because you are now in college doesn’t mean you can come home anytime you want .You are still living under my roof “ Her mom ranted angrily .

“Samson isn’t good for nothing ...He ...”

Her mom cut her off “Will you shut up your mouth .He is a school drop out ,He smokes and drink for goodness sake .Can’t you date a more responsible guy and not that douche bag you call your boyfriend “

Her little sister just sat down watching the drama as she caressed her puppy .

“I love him mom ....I don’t care about what he does .he will change as time goes on and him being a school drop out isn’t really a bad thing “Suzy tried to defend him .

“Sis ,I don’t think this guy is good for you “Her Lil sis ,Bella said .

“Shut up you little devil .What do you know ?”Suzy eyed her .

“Am not little .Am 16”Bella rolled her eyes .

“You don’t have to ring that in my ear all the time “Suzy hissed .

“And mom!Am happy with Samson .I will be going to bed now .Am feeling lightheaded already “Suzy said and walked out on them .

“So annoying “Bella mumbled.

“I just pray she doesn’t regret all this “Her mom said sadly .”I don’t trust this Samson of a guy “

“Me too !”Bella said shaking her head .

She look down and saw her puppy asleep already .

She remembered about the new neighbour who tried to touch her puppy ,Lucky and frowned .

She really hates people touching her things .

  NEXT MORNING

“Mom am off to school “Bella shouted from the living room .

“Won’t you take breakfast? “Her mom yelled back from the kitchen .

“No mom ,I will eat at school “She said

“Okay dear “

Bella carried her backpack,Said a quick goodbye to lucky and headed out of the house .

She started singing a song .

....”I got the hips ,got the ass ...,got the .........”

“Am not so sure about that “A voice said behind her chuckling .

She frowned when she saw the same guy from yesterday carrying his backpack ,probably going to school also .he was staring at her amusedly .

“Hey! you pervert ...,Stop eye raping me !”Bella said firmly .

“I wasn’t ...,I was just...yunno “he winked .

She hissed and continued walking and he walked beside her .

“Which school do you attend ?”He asked

“None of your business “Bella fired .

“Oh wow !You are fiery “He said .

“Glad you know “She faked a smile .

“Look ,am sorry for trying to touch your puppy or whatever .You are just ...Gosh!,Just forget it ...Anyways ,am Ben “

“I didn’t ask “Bella eyed him .

“I just wanted to let you know ...”He winked “What your name ?”He asked

Bella said nothing and continued walking .

“Oh well ....,Anyways .....see you later birdie ...my school direction is this way “Ben said and made to pass another way .

“I really don’t know why you are telling me that “Bella signed.

Ben simply laughed softly and went his way.

Bella smiled shaking her head as she walked alone to her school .

      {Homeroom class }

Mrs Doris isn’t in class yet and the students just chatted noisily.

Ben and his seat mate are seated texting each other and smiling sheepishly when one of them send something funny or silly .Ben haven’t heard her voice yet and he badly wants to .

Kizzy and Flora were at the end of the classroom together as usual .

Flora was talking nonstop to Kizzy who was staring at Ben and Riss .

.....”so nick texted me yesterday’s evening and we talked about books and a lot of stuffs .I lost track of time and forget to do the laundry and wash the dishes .he is just so so fun to .......”

“Do you think Ben like Riss ?”Kizzy asked cutting Flora off from rambling.

“Were you even listening to me at all “Flora frowned .

“Just answer my question ....”Kizzy said firmly .

“How am I suppose to know “Flora said looking at Ben and Riss and then gasped .”Wait Kizzy ,Do you like Ben or something “She asked .

“Not really .Even if i do ..,He is clearly interested in Riss .I mean ,it so obvious “Kizzy said smiling a little .

“I know ,right! “Flora sighed .
