Chapter 14

BRADEN

     I woke up with a ray of sunlight on my face. I groaned. I smiled when I remember what my naughty mate did last night. I frowned when I can't feel her beside me. I looked around and I was right. I'm still in her room but I can't see traces of her. 

     I roll over to her side and sniff her scent, it's strawberry with vanilla plus a hint of jasmine, so addicting. I moaned and then I felt my buddy hardened.

"Fuck!" I cursed. I got up from her bed and went out of her room. I was surprised when I realized that I was dressed in a new set of clothes. I was confused since I don't have this set of clothing. 

I walked toward my room and went ahead to the bathroom to freshen up before I start my Alpha duties.

"Jaxon, did you see your luna?" I mind linking my Beta.  

"Good morning, Alpha, the Luna went out with Wilson," he replied. A growl escaped my lips upon hearing my gamma's name together with my mate.

"Where did they go?" I asked him again, a hint of jealousy was in my aura that radiated to the mind link.

"I- I don't know Alpha, the Luna didn't say anything," Jaxon replied. 

"You should know where they go, that's your job as my beta," I hissed at him.

"I apologize alpha, I try to mind link Wilson," he replied. 

I took a deep breath. Wilson is also my friend. I don't have reasons to get jealous but think that my mate enjoys his company more than mine. 

"Alpha, Wilson shut down her link, I can't talk to him," Jaxon replied. 

I growled. Order the warriors and trackers to search for the gamma and the luna. I follow them in a bit." I command him.

"Will do, alpha!" Jaxon replied. 

"Look for mate," Atticus howled inside my head. 

"I will buddy," I told him. "You'll pay for this Wil," I cursed in the air towards my gamma.

ALLISON

"Luna we should go back to the territory," Wilson said. I felt his worry because we where 

out of the territory, we are now in the depths of the forest. 

"Just relax, Gamma, we will be fine," I told him calmly.  I heard him sigh. 

"Okay, but we should inform the Alpha about our whereabouts," he said.

"This place is unsafe," he added. "I know, that's why I chose to be here," I told him.

He looked at me with disbelief. I felt his uneasiness, I looked at him in the eyes. 

Then my eyes change to a fiery red as I felt my Masha was surfacing.

"What are you doing, Luna?" Wilson said his eyes changing into his wolf eyes. I laughed at him. I saw the confusion in his eyes.

"Relax Wilson, I brought you here because I will tell you my secret," I told him.

He looked at me. "It's about your wolf?" he asked. I nodded my head to him. 

"The packed thought that you are a human and so I did, until last night," he said.

"I need to hide her," I replied to her.

"What do you mean? Why?" he asked consecutively. "Masha is not an ordinary wolf, she can annihilate the pack if I can't control her," I explained.

"What? annihilate the pack?" Wilson said and he began laughing. Masha let a powerful growl that made the ground shake.

Wilson's eyes widened and show his neck for submission. 

"Now you know what I can do, do you still question me?" a powerful voice came out from me, it was Masha, surfacing.

"I'm sorry, Luna. I didn't mean to disrespect you," Wilson said while exposing his neck.

I took a deep breath and calm myself. "Masha calms down," I told Masha. She rolled her eyes. "Just tell me if it's time to rip the head of that Gamma," she replied before retreating inside my head.

I looked towards Wilson. "Stood up, Wil," I told him. Wilson eyed me with disbelief, your command was stronger than the Alpha," he said. 

"That's the reason why my parents choose to hide me from our pack, my wolf is powerful and untamed," I explained to him.

Wilson just listen to me.  "I was 6 when I first shifted, which is not normal for a wolf," I added. 

"When I shifted mom and dad, had hard taming my wolf. I even killed a rogue before,' I told him.

I saw the shock in his eyes and disbelief. "Why are you telling me this Luna, you should tell your mate first, instead of me, it should be Braden," Wilson said. I looked away.

"The first time I saw you, I felt a connection, and Masha too, she said that I need to let you about me," I explained to him. 

"It sounds weird right, but Masha and I have a deeper connection than most of the wolves," I told him. 

"I can't explain that connection we had but I feel secure and safe with you," I added.

"But you should feel that way to Braden, she's your mate," he added. 

I just smile at him. Wilson just looked at me

"Thank you for the trust Luna, I swore to protect and risk my life for you," Wilson said with sincerity in his eyes. 

I smiled at him. "I knew you will, but keep this as a secret for now even to your mate," I told him.

He nodded his head.  "I swear it with my life," he said.

"Thank you, wanna run with me?" I asked him. Wilson's eyes widened from what I said. 

"I just can't believe it, throughout I thought you were a human.

I just smiled at him. Then my eye color changes into a fiery red. Then my bones started to crack and my spine realigned, midnight fur come out from my skin. 

A humungous midnight fur wolf stood proudly in front of Wilson in a second.

"Shift now, Gamma," Masha commanded to a widened eye of Wilson.

Then in seconds, Wilson transformed into a brown wolf with yellow eyes. Wilson's wolf bowed his large head to me.

I started to run, leaving the dumbfounded Wilson. I giggled when I felt the cold air in my fur. It's been a while since I shifted. 

"Luna, it's very dangerous here," I heard Wilson's mind linking me. I look back and a large brown wolf running after me.

"Luna, we should go back," he added. "Easy Wil, let's enjoy the moment, the freedom," I replied to him.

"fuck, "I heard him curse. I just laughed in my mind. I continue running in the greenfield. 

Then I felt Wilson beside me, his running as fast as a bullet as well.

"The alpha will kill me if he finds out," he minds linking me. "Loosen' up gamma, we will be fine," I replied to him.

"uh, as if I have a choice," he replied. I giggled. 

Wil and I enjoy our run in the depths of the forest, but I am still wary about my surroundings, wherein a no man's land.

The danger is everywhere.
