Chapter 12

Braden

  It's been hours since and we couldn't find Allison. My trackers can't find her scent it's like it vanished from thin air. 

I was having a headache, Atticus keep snarling inside my head. He's afraid that our

mate will leave us because she found out I fucked other girls. 

"You dumb ass, I will not let you shift if we can't find mate," he chanted inside my head. 

Would  you shut up!" I snarled back at him.  I was so furious and I can't think of what he kept on whining inside my head.

"Alpha, we found the Luna she was in the packhouse, helping the omega for dinner," one of my warrior minds link me. I took a deep breath.

I started walking back to the packhouse. How did she get there without noticing by the guards?

We already searched the whole pack and no one had seen her going back to the pack, that was so impossible. 

"Hey, Alpha, ready to get doomed by your Luna?" I heard Wilson's voice behind me. I glared at him. He chuckles. 

My luna is quite a mysterious one. 

"Yes she is, so take care of him dumbass," Atticus said in my head. I shake my head.

I continue walking towards the packhouse. Everyone smiles at me. I walk towards the kitchen and saw my mate happily chatting with some omega while she helps cooking for dinner. 

I roamed my eyes on her, from her blonde hair that framed her beautiful face, to those clear blue oceanic eyes paired with cherry red lips.

"She's perfect," Atticus purred inside my head.

"Lovesick rascals," I told him before I shut him go to the of my mind.

I heard him giggle, it was like a beautiful melody ringing in my ears. I just looking the entire time. 

Her beautiful smiles softened my stoned heart.  Jaxon was right I was gifted by the moon goddess a precious mate.

I should not mess up this time. I slowly walked away from them and walked towards the alpha office.

"Pepper, see you in the Alpha's office now," I mind linking Pepper. I heard her giggles.

"Okay, Alpha," she replied with giggles. I groaned. I entered my office and walked to my swivel chair. I should end with Pepper.

I hope everything went fine. A few minutes I heard a knock on my door.

Then  I saw Pepper wearing seductive clothes that barely cover herself. She had a naughty smile on her face. 

She walked toward me and sat on my lap, but I moved away from her.

"Pepper we have to talk," I seriously told her. She smiled at me and was about to kiss me but I step back which made her frown. 

'What's wrong Braden, as far as I remember you enjoy my kisses yesterday?" she asked. I looked at her.

"Everything that happened yesterday was a mistake, "I told her. 

Pepper was dumbfounded.  "Everything is different now, I already found my Luna and my mate," I said to her. She just looked at me.  

"What about us Braden?" she asked. "You will find your mate soon," I replied. She shakes her head. "I understand Braden but why did you let me touch you yesterday," she asked. 

"Yesterday should not happen, I know I have fault too, I let you seduce me," I told her. 

"Allison is my mate and my Luna, she's mad at me right now," I added. 

Pepper looked away, hurt and the pain was in her eyes. But it's the right thing, what we have should be stopped. She looked at me and smiled.  

"I understand Alpha," she replied then bowed her head.  "I knew from the start that you will choose your Luna at the end of the day instead of me," she added. 

"Bye, for now, Alpha. I wish you the happiness with her," she finally said and bowed her head.

I took a deep breath when Pepper left my office. I knew that I've hurt her, she has feelings for me since we were kids, and I took advantage of it. 

"I hope that you will find your mate and will love you the way you wanted," I mumble.  

I went out of my office and walked towards the dining of the packhouse for dinner. I was greeted by my pack members. I roamed my eyes and saw my mate happily chatting with my beta couple and my gamma. I saw how happy she was, then my eyes squinted when Wilson touched my mate. I let a growl that everyone can hear. 

Everyone flinched except for my mate, she just looked at me with an arched eyebrow. I looked her eye to eye trying to intimidate her but she just glared at me. 

I saw Jaxon and Wilson smirk. I walked toward them without removing my gaze to my meet who continue talking with Jade. 

"What's with the grumpy mood, Alpha?" Jaxon teased.  My mate and Jade looked at me. I saw Jade smirk while my mate look at me with a cold stare. I sit beside her. 

She just continues talking with Jade. I sniff her scent and it made me a little bit calm.

I looked at the two dumbasses beside me. They looked at me like they were saying that "I told you so".  A beast of friends, I cursed in mind. 

I took a plate and some food and began eating, observing Ally. 

"Hey, Wil let's go back again tomorrow in town," she said without looking at me. I knew that I hurt her but I felt jealous when he invited Wilson except for me. 

I took a deep breath. I mind linking Wilson not to agree with my mate but the latter smirked at me. 

"Sure Luna, it's my pleasure to tour you around the pack," Wilson replied. I glared at him but he just chuckled. 

"Okay then, it's all settled," my mate said then she stood up which made me frown. 

"I take a rest now, see you tomorrow morning, and then she walked away towards her room. I was left dumbfounded by what she did. 

"You pissed off the Luna, Brad," Jade said. I looked at her and swallow the last meat. I gulped a glass and water and follow my mate. 

I followed her scent and saw her entering her room. I used my wolf speed.

"Hey," I said and grab her arm. She was out of balance and fell on my chest. M cute mate glared at me. 

"Get off me," she growled which me amused, she's too cute when she's mad.

"You looked more beautiful when you were mad," I teased and I wrapped her with my both arms. She snaggle from my touch but I made sure that she can't get away from me.

I chuckled at her. "Get off your hands at me, alpha," she scoffed at me.

"No, I can't your my mate," I said.  "Why are you tired with your whores that's why you are here with me," she angrily said. I found her cuter when she was mad, that's why I decided to tease her more.

"hmnnnn, I just want a good]night kiss from my beautiful mate," I told her. She was stunned for a moment.

"I am still mad at y-," I cut her off with a kiss. Just a gentle one. I have the softest and sweetest lips I have ever tasted. I rub my arms on her back while I deepen our kiss. I felt that she was responding to my kiss. 

I smiled, and stop kissing her. " That was great mate," I teased her. I saw her face redden. 

"I'm sorry about what I did the other day. I  already ended my affair with Pepper, what I did was unforgivable and I am here to gain your trust and love again mate," I told her while staring at her beautiful face.

"And once that your ready, I swear that you will end in my bed and we well shared the sleepless night," I whispered at her. I saw how she swallowed. 

"I smirk. "Sleep now, while I can control myself not to mate with you tonight," I told her. I saw her eyes wide. she hurriedly walked inside her room and closed the door.

"Goodnight mate, see you on our date tomorrow," I shouted outside her room. I left her smiling and went to my alpha suite next door.
