CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Logan walked in to see Julie staring out the window. Michael folded his hands and leaned his back on the bookshelf.
Logan walked toward Julie and placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Hey, Julie, are you alright?” Logan asked.
“Don’t ask me if I am alright and just explain to me, how you can marry the person who crippled me and her family thought they could pay me off,” Julie demanded as she shrugged her shoulder away from his hand.
“I am curious too” Michael's eyes tightened at the corner.
