"I'll just bring these tomorrow for the trip," I answered Lorreine's question. "How about you? Are you buying anything for tomorrow too?"

"Of course! We bought a lot of snacks because I'm sure many of our classmates will ask for some during the trip. They're all peasants," she said, making us laugh. I didn't know our classmates well enough to know if she was telling the truth or not. I would find out tomorrow on the trip. But since Lorreine was close to all of our classmates, it seemed likely that what she said was true.
