"What's that about a while ago?" I asked while on my way home.

"What do you mean?" he replied.

I turned to look at him. "Did something happen between you and Gab that I don't know about? It feels like... there's tension."

He didn't immediately answer my question. Or maybe he was thinking of a lie because he didn't want me to know that there was indeed tension between them.

"It's nothing, Seanne. You don't have to worry."

"What? Is it a guy thing? Can't I know what it is? Or are you hiding something from me?"

"Like what I've said, it's nothing. You're just overthinking. We're just competing with each other as a former member and a new member."

I looked at him as if I was searching for something on his face. I don't know what he's thinking. But it feels like there's really something. Or am I overthinking just like he said?

"Really?" I confirmed.

"Really. I don't even know how it started. I just thought, I can't bear to lose to him."

He glanced at me before looking at the street
