The woman burst out laughing as she looked to Elizabeth, “You cannot seriously be entertaining this mere human, are you?” Louise demanded of Elizabeth. Carter stood a little taller and defensive of Elizabeth, while Elizabeth stepped forward. “Are you questioning my ability to identify the mate of my brother?” she questioned Louise.
