Ch.7 Halloween

Alexandra POV:

Sunday 30 October

"We must go costume shopping, no way you're going in that thing tomorrow!" Amber squealed, "what's wrong with this?" I questioned "seriously Al you can't do better than that?!" she exclaimed "you, me, and Aiko we're going costume shopping!" she asserted while typing something on her phone that turned out to be calling someone "Hey Aiko! Want to go costume shopping as a trio?!" she asked her in the phone "great let's meet at the Pavilion city mall in an hour, See you there!" she said and hung up the phone after Aiko responded with a goodbye as well.

"Well looks liked we're going shopping come on getting your ass up!" she commanded me, I groaned and went to the shower. I came out after about 15 minutes and then Amber went in. I wore a black top and beige pants, along with a bag.

When we reached Pavilion, it was around 5:00 PM. We saw Aiko we guessed she just arrived as well she spotted us and waved at us while we were approaching her. Amber ran up to her and hugged her like she didn't see her this morning, then she even pulled me into the hug, "let's go shopping girls!" Aiko exclaimed as we go inside the mall, I chuckled, "What's the theme?" I questioned while going inside a store "what about that sexy bunny we saw on P*******t" Amber suggested! After she said that I spotted a perfect trio costume, "Hey what about that one!" I called out, pointing at the outfit as a devil, dark angle, and a white angle.

We talked to some co-workers and got our sizes I forgot to bring my card and I didn't have enough money to buy the costumes, but fortunately Amber bought them for us kindly as she said: "it's almost dinner right now want to eat out?" I suggested "oh, and I will be paying kindly for the food" I insisted in a joking way Amber rolled her eyes and Aiko chuckled "We should name ourselves the 'A group'" Aiko proposed.

"Very creative Aiko," I said teasingly, "but it isn't bad!" she cried out to me, Amber and I laughed. For the rest of the time, we just chatted. Aiko suggested this Korean restaurant she made us try Bibimbap, (Korean Rice Bowl) it was phenomenal.

We came back to the dorms at around 9:00 PM, and it looked like everyone are dinner there was 'Call out my name by The weekend' in the background speakers. Amber went up to Leo they were talking but for the music, the conversation was not clear she came back and said that we were going to watch a scary movie since tomorrow is Halloween. We went back to our dorm, me, Amber and Aiko wore matching hooded sweatshirts we bought when we bought when we were shopping. I got a matcha green bear, and Aiko and Amber got a cream-colored bear.

When we went to the common room, everyone already set up. We sat beside Aiko to my left was Mattheo but somewhere through the movie he and Xander switched for some reason when I looked to the side and I saw him cuddling with his girlfriend I think. At this point, I was on the edge of the couch because of the tension and suspense, and then a fucking good dam... Jump to scare came up and like reflex I held onto Xander's arm and for some fucking reason I felt like I was safe "are you going to hold on to my arm forever?" his deep voice whispered in teasingly and also cracked the silence between us "oh...sorry" I mumbled in embarrassment

I reluctantly removed my arm from his. After the movie ended Amber and Leo at this point slept together on the couch, I and everyone else who was barely awake bid their good nights and went to their dorms me and Xander glanced at each other and for a one-second glance it made me feel like an hour went by he went back to his dorm and so did I.

When I went and lay on my bed, I sank onto my duvet and brought my blanket over me and fell asleep thinking about what a day it was...

I woke up and checked my phone it was around 8:30 AM, I got up and went to the bathroom and my hair looked like shit, a few minutes later I got ready and wore a black top and black trousers since I didn't want to go outside in a bear pj's.

After I got ready I was going to go to the kitchen but was surprised by people putting up decorations "When did you guys wake up" I finally spoke after observing for a good minute "Finally you're awake!" Amber yelled from the top of a ladder, someone then touched my shoulder I looked, and it was Aiko "They like woke up 45 minutes ago, and they started decorating the place" she said "Wow dedication am I right" I said while chuckling.

Suddenly Aiko's stomach grumbled a little loudly "What I got dragged up out of bed no breakfast and started decorating?!" she defended then an idea popped in my head "What about we make something Halloween-themed for breakfast!" I asked Aiko "Great, please! We're all starving and no one in here is a better cooker than you" I chuckled, "you can search up a recipe, and I'll prepare the things" I said.

When we went to the kitchen Aiko already got some recipes, but it was going to take a lot more than two people so some of our friends decided to help, and we were missing some of the ingredients "Hey, can someone get something from downstairs I got a list!" I yelled while preparing the ingredients we have for that are on the instructions, "Xander and Matheo went outside to buy some ornaments that we needed, just send me a picture of the list and ill ask them!" Leo yelled back in response.

After about 30 minutes we just made the basics and waited for Xander and Matheo and finally the bell rung by this point me and Aiko and whoever was also helping was a mess of flour, spilled milk or stained eggs on our aprons. Aiko and Amber went open the door and the first thing we heard was "Did Aiko just survive Hell's Kitchen?" I stood up and went to help the boys, but I couldn't help but notice how Xander looked, it was casual but somehow attractive. I and Aiko took the bags and continued baking with the others.

After We were finally finished, we went to shower and came back with no spilled milk or flour all over ourselves. We made Cobweb Pancakes, ghost pop tarts, and pink pineapple lemonade!

After eating breakfast and some compliments, we agreed on meeting at the café downstairs at around 10:30 PM. We played some games and with the leftover ingredients that we used for breakfast we had we made some fried rice, but the boys tried to make it was fun watching them suffer but eventually, we helped.

We just hung out and chill until It was around 9:00 PM, so we all went to our rooms Aiko came into our room, and we started to get ready took us about an hour, but I was the dark angle, Aiko was the white angle and Amber was the devil. When we went downstairs, we saw everybody waiting for us, and we decided who to go to whom. In the car, we went to Amber's car, and it was about a fifteen-minute drive until we finally reached there.

When we arrived there it was not too full or too empty it was empty enough to walk through and full enough to have an audience the music wasn't bad, but we straight headed to the bar, the music was booming loud and the bright-colored spotlights were everywhere in the room. "What can I get for you three beautiful ladies?" a cute bartender asked "I'll get the risen from the grave one," Aiko said "Great choice! How about you two?" he asked "I'll take the sweet poison cocktail," Amber said "Good and Evil cocktail for me" I responded "those two are the best-selling one tonight good choice," he said then left to make the drinks.

After one or two or actually…maybe three drinks I somehow landed on the dance floor with Matheo looked like his 'girlfriend' richer him, but while dancing I could feel this intense stare from the back of my neck I looked behind, and it was the bartender and... Xander? Why would he look at me out of all the people, I ignored the questioned and ditched Matheo to look where Aiko and Amber were.

Well, I found Aiko with Marcus and Amber with Leo to distract myself I went to the bar to get another four more drinks soon my vision started to get blurry and I felt my body starting to get hot, and my mind became light head - my thoughts were cut by someone tapping my shoulder I turned around to see... With what I could build out, it looked like Xander.

"Here have this" he gave me a water bottle "I can't be the only one to drag twelve college students out of her," he said I mumbled thanks and drank the water the cold liquid made me feel a lot better currently he was sitting next to me, and after I thought I was sober until I 'asked'......

"Why did you reject me in high school?"
