Ch.2 "New Start"

Alexandra POV:

Wednesday 25th May.

"Mom, Where are my favorite socks!"I shouted, upstairs from her room. Currently, Alex was packing to go to the U.S.A since Julliard is there. She and Amber went on a whole shopping spree for the dorm rooms. Her parents were very proud when they found out that their daughter was going to a school that only had a 9% acceptance rate conquering her acting dreams, especially with a scholarship. "It's in the laundry basket it's already cleaned just get it from there!"Mom replied, shouting back at me from downstairs in the kitchen. I finished packing after some time and ate dinner so I decided to open my diary and just start writing my thoughts.

Dear, Diary

Amber thought almost spending 2,000$ for a mini-refrigerator was "okay" since it was a "necessity", So you can say we spent quite a lot. Don't get us wrong we are not spoiled or anything like that! Our parents are pretty wealthy so money isn't that much of a big deal but we almost barely spent a big amount of money. But we also bought these cute types of cushions and some fairy lights! It was fun shopping and finally having some girl time with her and me not being stressed because of finals or exams...

Well, a diary I need to go to sleep so good

I closed the book and got up from my desk to go brush my teeth and turn off the lights as soon as I went to the bed after changing into my comfortable peach-colored pj's, the feeling of the soft mattress made my eyes heavy and my body soon fall into a deep sleep.

It was the next day and I did not want to get out of bed when I said I did not want to get out of bed I wasn't lying it took me 3 missed alarm rings and 2 shouts from my mother until I woke up. I got up and checked my phone to see the time being around 9 AM but also 36 messages from BFF / Amber and oh boy! She was excited alright she had been trying to text me since 5 in the morning?! Ok, excited was an understatement in my life this girl would not even wake up at 2 PM even if her mother died. I read through the messages and chuckled to myself and put my phone down to get ready.

I wore a simple white hoody and some grey sweatpants to match it I got some white and grey sneakers, I styled my hair to a simple messy bun and went downstairs.

We needed to head out at 10 since our flight was at 2 PM. Today I can't believe that I and my childhood best friend was going to the University of Julliard and getting to share a room!

When I got downstairs I greeted my mom and dad ( it was a public holiday so they didn't need to go to work ) "Morning sweetie, are you excited?" she asked in a happy mood."Well, I don't know mom?"I shrugged sarcastically and continued "I'm just going just going to the university of my dreams..with my best friend and now also known as roommates!" I said acting like I still don't know. She chuckled and asked me to come and eat before the food goes cold.

We were in the car, and my mom and dad were talking while I was chatting with Amber on the phone, After we ate breakfast it was 10 AM so we had a lot of time still so I just finished packing, and now we're here.

Is currently 12:15 PM and we just arrived at the airport Amber texted me she is 10 minutes away. My dad helped me get my luggage from the trunk and so when we went in we waited for Amber, so I just pulled my phone out of my sweatpants ok, see I did not want to wear tight jeans or a cute dress for over 19 hours in a plane so I just wore the same thing I wore at home.

Scrolling through my phone I felt someone tap my should and I look up to see my mum point at something or should I say someone I look over my shoulder to see a familiar brunette I couldn't recognize until they turned around was Amber!

I stood up and walked over to her and sarcastically say "You came here just for me?!"She turned around and see me and sarcastically say going along with it "Yes, My love just for you, not anyone else unless it's a hot anime guy" she said and we laughed. I greeted her parents and lead them to the place we were waiting for them, me and Amber went to a nearby vending machine a familiar brown caught my eye when he turned around and noticed me we had eye contact and then I realized who it was...Xander Black well is also known as Mr. Arrogant ass.

Amber looked in the direction I was looking at wondering what I'm so distracted 'other than her' and caught Mr. Arrogant ass as well but I managed to tear my eyes away from it and started going in the direction where the vending machine, there was silence for a bit until she started talking again "What was that about?" She asked questionably. I shrugged "I kind of expected that," I said.

"Bye, mom and dad!"I said a little bit sad, it was currently 1:15 and I and Amber needed to go inside the waiting room since we will soon go on the plane and since they aren't going they couldn't come in so we needed to say our goodbyes. Sadly. "Bye sweetie make sure you call us or else we will fly there and talk to you," She said chuckling a little in the middle of her happy tears "Make sure no one hurts! Oh- and Amber tell me if any boy talks to her their next destination will be hell."My dad Joked "Seriously, DAD!"I whined jokingly, Amber laughed and then did a salute "Sir, Yes sir!"We all laughed and Amber said her goodbyes to her family and my and Amber went inside and waited.

We were walking through the seats to find our seats Amber spotted our seats and we went there and put our luggage in the cabinet thing, Sadly Amber called dibs for the window seat. I took out my phone to text my parents I was on the flight and was about to board before they told us to keep our phones. I was currently talking to Amber about shit after I texted my parents I

wasn't dead and then the same blondy immediately noticed who it was he was talking to the flight attendant and she lead him to business class it seemed like but before she led him I saw him take a glance at me it felt like time had stopped. I quickly changed my attention to Amber, we were talking for a bit until the Flight attendant said the normal usual stuff.

I kinda expected that Alexandra would be here, If only my fucking jet didn't crash I didn't have to be on this plane right now at least I wasn't in the economy when I looked around economy I expected Alexandra and her little friend of hers would be there but no- they were in first class I was slightly surprised but when the flight attendant told me that business class was just right ahead I couldn't help but take a glance at Alexandra, after summer break Alexandra did the whole makeover and did not look half bad but other women looked way but I can't help but think how that hoodie looks like on her.

We just arrived at Julliard."Oh. my. god" Me and Amber simultaneously said. It was huge! It's currently evening right now we just arrived at Julliard. and it is gorgeous.

Well kind of expected that it is very expensive, low acceptance rate, etc. But right now I really can't believe that my best friend is in front of Julliard and got a scholarship to go to this university!

When we got in we found the reception and went there, while Amber was talking I saw someone sitting in the waiting area I'm pretty sure that it was probably Mr. Arrogant ass. Yep, it was it turned out he was sitting there waiting for us so the receptionist give us a tour around the whole building it was huge!

I and Amber am currently in our dorms and it had a small connected bathroom with it, it was around 11 PM. Amber was changing into her pj's and I'm on the bed just scrolling my phone, it was silent until I decided to speak.

"This is so crazy" I murmured. "Right!? It's so crazy that you and I are got in our dream college and now we're even sharing a dorm!" She said excitedly "Well operantly 'Xander' as well" I added "Girl, Just enjoy this!" She said "Well I guess" I

said a little quietly.

After that, we chatted together until it was around 1 AM, see we kinda have of the habit of when we start we don't finish and also sleeping late Haha. O.o

I woke up around 8 AM, Amber was sleeping so I decided to get up ( reluctantly since she was probably awake soon ) and went to the bathroom, I look like a bird that pooped in her/his bird's nest!

"Damn. My hair looks worst than Tarzan himself" I murmured.

After showering with lavender shampoof , I wore an oversized dark green Lakers hoodie and some short pants long enough to be able to show with a white pair of converse. While I was showering Amber decided to wake up so we decided to go downstairs since there was this small cute cafe.

The café had amazing coffee! We needed to go to the Administration office to get our secludes and the classes. I am majoring in Economics and Musical Theatre, and Amber is majoring in Psych and Art, I and Amber got an iced latte and cake pops from the café and we're now going to the Admin Office.

I kinda expected to see Xander there but I didn't so we just took the schedules and went back to our dorms it was around 1 PM so we were planning to eat lunch and then decorate our dorm.

We decided that we would go to a restaurant that was just around the corner. It was called "The Smith" it was a very Lively place for classic American fare & specialty cocktails in spacious digs with a hopping bar. I took "THE SMITH BURGER" it had cheddar, bacon shallot jam, crispy onions, house pickles, TSB sauce, potato bun, fries, and Amber took a "GRILLED CHICKEN" burrata, tomato jam, basil aioli, toasted sesame.

I'm in my room laying down on my bed scrolling through my phone, I am currently wearing a black hoodie and pants. I took my schedule early this morning cause I didn't want to see them every wear I go, but also I low-key kind of wanted to see Alexandra but not that minion of hers that always follows around. Leo gone was in the common room but I did not feel like talking to people so I just stayed in our dorm.

"FINALLY!" Amber groaned and flopped on her bed. It was around 9 PM and I was both tired and hungry "Hey, wanna go to the common room I'm pretty sure they are making dinner wanna go see?!" I said in and tired with a hint of excitement. She agreed and we went to the common room and introduced ourselves and I and Amber decided to help them.

I was surprised when we were in the middle of making pasta Mr. Arrogant came to help us, I kinda noticed him talking to this person a lot lately I'm pretty sure his name was Leo Anderson I think- but I'm pretty sure they are roommates.

After eating we got back to our dorm pretty late, and Amber caught up in conversation. I brushed my teeth and slipped into comfy, bear-printed PJs.

"Goodnight, Amber," I said tiredly "Goodnight-" she said but was cut off by a yawn, I chuckled and just let my body feel the soft duvet and let my body fall into a deep sleep...
