"What did she say?" Aiden's cold voice pierced through the silence. He watched the slender finger walk from her seat to the elevator which led to the terrace instead of where he was.

Joseph wiped his sweaty face with a handkerchief, swallowed hard, and stuttered, "Mr. President, she asked for you to come meet her downstairs."

"Hmm." He drew in his cheeks slightly and emitted cold air. Elsie had always been stubborn. Aiden Scott remained silent for a while. He took a long sip of the whiskey in his glass. "You can go now."
