"Miss Young, isn’t this scarf beautiful? Vincent just bought it for me." Denise pulled the scarf out of the bag and waved it in front of me, practically shoving it in my face.

I responded coolly, "Mmm, it really suits your bitchy charm. And how did you end up with this one? Oh, right, you always seem to pick up the things I don’t want. The same scarf I already gave to the cleaning lady."

Denise’s face froze.

Seeing her reaction, Vincent stepped up to defend her, "Do you really think you’re a princess, that everyone has to worship at your feet? We don’t owe you anything, Suzy. What gives you the right to act so high and mighty?"

Bolstered by his words, Denise added with a smirk, "This scarf is from Vincent’s first paycheck! Don’t be so jealous just because you missed out. And by the way, hasn’t the Young family been struggling financially? Maybe you should focus more on your own problems, Miss Young."

I frowned. How did Denise know about the internal affairs of the Young family?
