25. That's my puppet.

Liam's POV

“Would you like anything?” Naya asks as I settle down on her sofa.

I let out a sigh. “Not really.”

“I'll get you a glass of water,” she suggests. “You look exhausted.”

I sigh yet again and glance at her. “You're quite right about that. I'd appreciate the glass of water, please.”

“Alright, darling,” she says with a smile and heads off to the the kitchen.

I adjust myself on the sofa. I hope she won't be display much drama when I finally let her know why I'm here.

That dream of hers is going to be torn apart. I know it will hurt, but she's my puppet and is going to do whatever pleases me.

She returns with a glass of water and drops it on the table before me, then she sits on the sofa that faces mine.

I shoot a gaze at her and tap on the space beside me, inviting her to sit there.

“Oh sorry.” She stands up quickly and skids over to my side.

Sinking into the sofa, she exhales softly and looks at me, but looks away immediately.
