"Alright, don't cry. Don't worry; I won't let anyone hurt you or the baby… As for Savannah, she can't play that role any longer," Oliver comforted her with a hug before turning to leave the room.

However, he didn't notice the glance exchanged between Esther and Paige nor the cold gleam in Esther's eyes.

No one should be allowed the chance to steal her limelight in that production.

After finishing the scenes that day, Savannah returned to the hotel. As soon as she got out of the shower, a sudden pounding came on the door.

"Who could be visiting so late?" her assistant, Jodie Sanders, wondered as she scurried over to answer the door. Before she could ask, an enraged Oliver shoved her aside and barged into the room.

Savannah's long raven hair was still damp from the shower. It cascaded down her shoulders, ending at her waist. She was wearing a white camisole nightgown as she stood barefoot. She looked like a pure, ethereal angel who had mistakenly wandered into the mortal world.
