CHAPTER 141: GOODBYE

In one swift move, I was already on my heels and outside the room as if I wasn’t the one who was unwell. The only thing I could hear now was, ‘My mother!’

She would be fine, right? Nothing would happen to her, right?

Just a moment ago, we had been together, fighting side by side. What might have happened to her just now?

All those thoughts kept replaying in my mind as I ran through the hallway, down the stairs, and into another hallway that led to the living hall. Something popped into my mind and I froze.

She had no heart! She was living like a shadow!

“Nooo!” I shouted at the top of my lungs as I increased my speed.

Right now, I couldn't hear anyone speaking to me. I couldn’t see anyone beside me. All I wanted to see was Seraphina, my mother.

Reaching the hall, my eyes started tearing up as I saw the woman on the couch, surrounded by some maids and other people I couldn’t recognize at this moment. I rushed to her and knelt on the floor, closer to the couch.

“Baby girl.” She calle
