You Can't Stop Me

Elora's POV.

Bryce climbed out of the car, walking over to my side to help me out.

He opened the door and expected me to climb out of the car, but I had to look around twice before doing so. It was a public place, and Chief Grayson could catch me right in my crimes. He didn't know I wasn't back at the pack, and he wouldn't be happy either if he saw me with Bryce.

“Come on, Elora... Chief Grayson isn't here right now! Just come out…” he urged, making me snap my gaze to him.

“How did you…” I was going to say, but he took the words right out of my mouth.

“Know?” He cackled briefly. “Trust me, I know more than you can imagine, Elora… now can you get out of the car?” He begged, and grabbing my purse, I wasted no time climbing out of the car.

The minute I took a step forward and Bryce had the door shut, everyone who had their eyes fixed on me bowed their heads to me.
