Unexpectedly Bleeding

Killian's POV.

The ride back to the pack was filled with nothing more than silence and tension in the car. I would have felt good if Elora had returned with me to the pack, but at this point, the only thing I could think about was Dayton.

The fact that I had found him crying made me feel bad. I made him that way; I made him act weak for the first time.

I knew that Dayton liked and cared about me, but one thing I didn't expect was to find him loving me.

My fist clenched as I kept staring at him while he drove. If I had listened to him or at least included him as I was heading to the pack, then maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't be sad. Maybe I would have gotten Elora to myself; maybe I wouldn't have collapsed before everyone in the pack.

"You know, if you keep staring at me that way, I might end up losing control of the wheels, Alpha Killian!" Dayton notified as he glanced at me from the rearview mirror.

He had noticed me watching and stealing glances at him. Well, that was all I could do
