Sixty-five

MELISSA’S POV

I watched as Layla called Stefan and my bones continued to crack. I felt really scared and thought I was going to die.

“I’m scared, Layla.” I said and then a serious bone crack occurred which caused me to growl hard.

Layla looked really scared and she was in tears as she managed to run out of the room. This got me excited. My meal threw in a challenge and I was ready to chase her around the house, if that was what she wanted.

I ran after her until she got to the sitting room, panting heavily. As she unlocked the door, I pounced on her and threw her to the sofa.

“Melissa, please spare me. What has gotten into you?”

“You have the wrong name, miss. I am Jana.” I said, with a sharp growl.

Then I moved at a fast speed towards her, and picked her up. I slammed her against the wall and pinned her neck to the wall, with a smirk on my face.

“How does it feel to look death in the eye?” I smile enjoying the fear in her eyes.
