MELISSA’S POV

“If you are thinking morning will come, do not be deceived. We have no sun over here. This is to test how bad you want what you came here for and how confident you are.” He said as he turned around slowly to look at me. I felt I was going to faint if I saw his face, I dreaded seeing his face because I knew he was going to be scary.

To my surprise, he was faceless. It was just a cloak that seemed like a ghost, and then I passed out, only to wake up later.

Everywhere was still dark, and I knew that this was serious, and I had to take this head on. Those scary things won't allow me to move forward, and that won’t be good. I stood up and kept moving forward until I saw a dark alley where I could see nothing but somehow, I knew that was the way to where I was going to.

Fear gripped me as I made my way into the alley and couldn't see a thing, then I felt a cold hand hold my wrist.
