STEFAN’S POV.I felt better as I had made up with Melissa, because her feeling bad over the misunderstanding we had was a burden to me. Although, I so much wanted to ask her about the man she was with, the other night, but I preferred for the misunderstanding between us to die first, then I would later bring up that topic. I believe she would explain better what happened that she was at his place, before mine.I got home and made tea for myself, then I sipped my tea as I watched the full moon, come out. It was a beautiful sight and someone like me had mastered control over my body, during the full moon. I had only one weakness and there was no way I could be unlucky with it, since I wasn’t going out and there had been no full moon that I was unlucky for it.Then my phone began to ring and the person who was calling made me express a baffled look, but I hoped that all was well.“Good evening, miss Layla. It is a surprise that you are calling me, by this time. I hope there is nothing w
MELISSA’S POV.“Melissa! Melissa!” Robin’s voice, called me back to reality.I looked around like I didn’t know where I was, before. Sweats were dripping on my clothes and I tried my best to calm down, by breathing in and out.“Yes, yes. You are helping yourself. Keep doing that until I’m back. I’ll be right back.” He said, then left before I could ask him where he was going to.I kept trying to balance my breath and it was working. Everything seemed much better and it felt as if a huge burden had been lifted off me. A few minutes later, Robin came back, with a cup of something hot in his hand.“What’s that?” I asked as he bent down to me.“Tea.” He said, with a smile.“Tea?”“Yeah. Drink it. It will calm you down.” He said as he handed it over to me.I brewed it and then sipped it, little by little, to avoid my tongue, being burnt. While sipping, I remembered what I had seen while in pain. It made me to wonder about what I never really cared about; my past life. I so much wanted to
MELISSA’S POV.Alicia had always managed to say things that made me either angry, or curious. I hated to wait to hear what she had to say, but I was in a relationship with Stefan, already, so I really needed to know.“I said what do you mean!” I repeated, with my right eyebrow, arched. Then she laughed hysterically like she was making fun of me, and I felt stupid for being curious. Afterall, she would do anything for me to feel bad. I decided to ignore her and then went to the rooftop and met Stefan. His aura was a bit different and he looked sad. I have never seen him this way and this made me feel worried.“You look sad. Anything wrong?” I asked as I got to him. Then he smiled. “I’m not.”“Oh, come on. The way you stood and all, makes it seem you’re sad. It’s okay to be sad, at times, you know.” I said, hoping he would tell me whatever was on his mind. Then he sighed. “I just miss you, and I guess, not finding you, yesterday, took a toll on me. By the way, did you see the face of t
MELISSA’S POV.I got home, and dropped my bag on the sofa as I headed towards the fridge to have a cold drink. I gulped it down, and exhaled, satisfyingly.“This is so refreshing.” I said to myself as I picked up my bag, then went into my room, and hanged it in my cupboard. I went into the bathroom to wash my face, and when I got back into my room, my eyes, sighted the bag, which Robin gave to me, the day he helped me change outfit. Then I sighed. “I think you need to return to your owner. Not sure I’m supposed to accept you.” I said as I changed my clothes, into something more comfortable, then I picked it up and headed off to his house. When I got to his house, I rang the doorbell, thrice, before he came over to the door to open it. But something was different. His lips were dry, and he looked a bit pale.I got inside as I clutched my hands on the bag, tight.“I came to return this to you.” I said as I handed it over to him.“I didn’t think you were going to return this, because it
MELISSA’S POV.I was destabilized by that message. If he knew where I was, could it be that he could see me, right now? And worst of all, Robin was with me. Why did he have to be with me, at this time? I looked around, trying to check where he was, until Robin snapped his fingers to get my attention back.“Hello? Are you okay?” He asked, out of concern. But then, Stefan’s call, came in and my heart skipped a beat. Then I looked up at Robin.“Uhm… Excuse me, I’ll like to take this call.” I said as I moved a few steps away from him. After moving away from him, I answered the call, in nervousness.“Hey, sweetheart.”My anxious heart thawed with relief as I heard his calming voice. He wasn’t annoyed with me, and it raised concern as well.“I thought you said you know where I was.” I asked, trying to understand why he said that, or if he was really here.“Oh, I was just kidding, actually.”Then I smiled. I was glad that he didn’t know where I was, or whom I was with, at that moment.“Uhm…
STEFAN'S POV.I got so angry. This was so annoying. How would this man whom I do not know anything about, keep tailing and threatening me? I never saw myself in this situation. Both him and Alicia had me in their hands, but I wasn't going to settle for that.I tried to keep calm as there was no use of me, being angry. I continued on my way home, and when I got home, I went to my room, and still had the text on my mind. What could I do to solve this situation? But since I had not even gotten who it was, it wasn't going to be easy to know how to tackle the real situation. It was best for me to stay calm, and watch the time he sends his message, and also watch everyone's expression when they see me. Probably I could get the culprit if I did that. It was better not to think too much about this as the day for the project launch was fast approaching, and I do not want any loop holes.I laid on my bed after removing my clothes, and then brought out my phone. I decided to text Melissa to get
MELISSA’S POV.No! I wouldn’t allow myself eat Layla up. Not when Stefan isn’t here. Layla moved closer to me, wanting to give me a hug, but I moved a few steps, backwards.“Uhm… I forgot an important file, at the office. I’ll be back, soon.” I said as I quickly rushed out of the house.I didn’t want her to delay me any longer, as that wouldn’t be a good idea for both of us. I was too scared to take a cab, down to Robin’s house as I feared that I would lose control in the car, and eat up an innocent man.So, I walked fast, and tried to focus on only good emotions, and moments, until I got to his house.“You’re here. I’m glad you lasted, until now.” He said, with a smile as I got in.“Where is the wristband, hurry.” I said, trying my best to stop myself, from losing control.Robin handed the wrist band over to me, and immediately I wore it, I felt better.“Phew!’ I gave a sigh of relief.“It feels good, right?” He asked, with a smile.“Yeah, thanks. By the way, how was I able to last,
MELISSA’S POV.I was shocked, seeing him in that situation, and my hands were shaking as I didn’t understand what was going. Tears began to run down my eyes, in fear that he was going to die.“Melissa, clean your tears. I love you very much, Melissa, and…” He coughed hard. “I will miss you.”“No… No… Stefan, stay with me. You can’t leave. I cried out as I tried to drag him from the sofa, then I heard laughter.“So hilarious.” Layla said. She seemed to have really found this so funny, because she was laughing really hard.“Why are you laughing, Layla? Can’t you see someone is dying? My boyfriend!”Suddenly, someone grabbed my waist, out of nowhere, only for me to find out it was Stefan. He had stood up, and then he kissed me passionately, but I was too shocked to reciprocate.“I love you, Melissa. I really do.” He confessed, staring at me with loving eyes.“B…But… Wait, was this all a prank?” I asked, with my eyes, widened in shock. Then Stefan pulled me closer again, and kissed me de
