MELISSA’S POV

I was destabilized by that message. If he knew where I was, could it be that he could see me, right now? And worst of all, Robin was with me. Why did he have to be with me, at this time? I looked around, trying to check where he was, until Robin snapped his fingers to get my attention back.

“Hello? Are you okay?” He asked, out of concern.

But then, Stefan’s call, came in and my heart skipped a beat. Then I looked up at Robin.

“Uhm… Excuse me, I’ll like to take this call.” I said as I moved a few steps away from him.

After moving away from him, I answered the call, in nervousness.

“Hey, sweetheart.”

My anxious heart thawed with relief as I heard his calming voice. He wasn’t annoyed with me, and it raised concern as well.

“I thought you said you know where I was.” I asked, trying to understand why he said that, or if he was really here.

“Oh, I was just kidding, actually.”

Then I smiled. I was glad that he didn’t know where I was, or whom I was with, at that moment.
