STEFAN'S POV."Mr. Stefan, I really enjoyed these three days project launch, and I must say, I am impressed." Mr. Kim Mike smiled."Thank you for the opportunity to show you what we can do. I am so certain that my workers enjoyed working with yours, and they did well.""Exactly.""By the way, I'll like to suggest a week's vacation from the whole stress, and to commend the workers for their good job. What do you see to it?" I asked, hoping he would consent to it, or his schedule would permit that."Oh! That's great, actually. Unfortunately, I have to fly back to Korea, on Monday, so I am afraid it would have to be cut short to a three days vacation. Tomorrow can be an off say for them all to rest, and probably prepare, if they need to.""Alright, that's noted, and fine with me." I smiled. We continued to talk as we headed out of the company, for a meeting we both had.~MELISSA'S POVWith curiosity getting the best of me, I decided to go over to where she wanted us to meet. It wasn't
MELISSA’S POV.“Warnings of death? I…I…I do not understand. Does it pertain to us?” I asked, baffled at his statement.“We can’t stay here, for long. Come with me.” He said as he picked up his guitar.“No! What do you mean? I can’t just follow you because of something which I am not even certain that your statement is accurate about it.” I retorted.“Look…”My phone began to ring, and when I checked who was calling, it was Stefan.“Hello.”“Listen to me, carefully, Melissa. I need you to stay in your house. Do not go out. I will come over to you.” He said, like he was in a haste.“What’s going on? I am not in the house, currently. I am with Layla, at the beach.” “Shit! Oh, no. Look, run quickly, and get a cab that would bring you and Layla, over to my house. Something really bad is going to happen, soon.” He said. Then I looked at Robin, then back at the phone.“Are you perhaps, talking about the monster spiky stones?” I asked, hoping it wasn’t really related to that.“How did you k
MELISSA’S POV.Even as I said my last prayers, I knew in me that I wasn’t ready to die. I shut my eyes, tight, and held my fingers, tight as my heart began to race in anxiousness.Suddenly, someone grabbed me, and it felt as if the wind was carrying me somewhere else. I was too scared to open my eyes to see what was going on, but in a few minutes, everything seemed peaceful.“Melissa, are you alright?” I heard a voice which seemed like Layla’s.Then I opened my eyes to see what was going on, and to my relief, I was in Stefan’s house. Both Layla and the man we had helped were safe, too.“Oh, my goodness.” I broke into silent tears, and covered my face.I had such a near death experience, and I was just so grateful that Stefan had come right in time, to save me.“You are safe now, Melissa.” He said as he hugged me deeply. The warmth of his hug could be likened to the one of a mother’s. I felt calm, and happy, and relieved.“Thank you, Stefan. Thank you so much for watching out for me.”
STEFAN'S POV.I had never seen such happen before in the duration of years, which I have lived. Suddenly, a bright light shone right in front of me, and I had to use both my hands to shield my eyes from becoming blind."Open your eyes now, Stefan." I heard a soothing voice, say."The light is too bright for me to risk opening my eyes.""It is bright, but it will not harm you. I am the one beaming with light, so I have power over it."I was curious, so my curiosity also overshadowed my doubt. As I opened my eyes, I was mesmerized by the beauty I saw. It was a woman, with blue, dreamy eyes, and a perfect face structure. She was gorgeous, and although, I couldn't see from her waist, down, because of the bright light, my eyes didn't fail to catch sight of her tattoo. It was a tattoo of the moon on her arms, and forehead. "Oh, no." I exclaimed as I figured out who it was, and I bowed down."Raise your head, Stefan. I have accepted your greeting." The moon goddess said."To what do I owe
STEFAN'S POV"What's going on, Layla?" I asked.Layla looked around her and I could tell she was confused."Where am I?" She asked.I slammed my hand on my face. Gosh! If I knew that Melissa won't be here, by the time I got back here, I would have come back here, immediately. I was thinking she was going to keep everyone in check, when they begin to ask, what was going on."You are in my house. Where is Melissa?""Melissa? I don't remember seeing her here. The last thing I remember was that we were at the beach, and...and we had a little misunderstanding. Did she drag me here? And this looks like we are underground. Wait, what's going on?"This was all stressful, but I needed to know where Melissa and that other man, were. Then I walked closer to her, and touched her head."What's going on, Mr. Stefan?" She asked.I could feel her fear. Anyways, who wouldn't be scared, in such a situation? Especially when Melissa wasn't here."This is a dream, which you will forget, in 5 seconds, afte
STEFAN'S POV.I had to look for Melissa, but there was no way I could search for her, right now. And tomorrow was going to be the day Kim Mike, his workers, and my workers, get together, but now that Melissa wasn't here, it was beat to cover up for her. That was the disadvantages of having no one here. There was no one you could go to, or ask for help, either. Then I drove back home, and when I got home, I remembered an antique mystery ball, which I had in my basement. It would help me track the scent that has been cleared away.I rushed downstairs to the basement, and searched through the cupboard there where I do keep a few important things. But there was one thing about the mystery ball. It would only make you see the scent you are trying to get, in about three days.I hoped that nothing bad would have happened to Melissa as the mystery ball was my only hope."Just three days, Melissa. Three days, and I will come after you." I said to the air.I picked up the mystery ball, and cle
STEFAN’S POV.The next day, I got ready for the 3-day vacation, which I knew it would never be the same, without Melissa. I had packed all my stuff, and dropped them in the trunk. Then I got a call from Alicia, and I answered it.“Good morning, boss.”“Morning.”“I am so sorry to ask you for this favor, but I would love it if you could help me, by giving me a ride to work. There is an issue with my bank, and I can’t seem to withdraw. I don’t have any cash, either.” She was annoying, and this was not the best time for her to pull any tricks on me, but I wouldn’t want my problem to be divided into two places, so it was best to just keep doing the little things for her that doesn’t require me to think too much.“Tell me your address.”“B…but you came to my house, the other day, all by yourself.”“Look. I came to your house, twice. One, you helped me under the rain when I was without my car, and I couldn’t tell where exactly you were taking me to. Secondly, I helped you by giving you a
MELISSA’S POV.My eyes widened in fear and shock for her.“Don’t move.” I said, hoping that would be a solution.“They look hungry. I am dead already.” Dawn said.Deep in my heart, I knew that it was already the end of her, but I wanted to encourage and instill confidence in her, before she was torn apart by the hungry wolves.“Please do not forget to relay my message to Theo.” She said, with tears, running down her cheeks. At that moment, I knew that there was no longer fear in her. She had accepted her fate that she was going to die, anytime soon.“I will tell him how you died, like a confident warrior. A warrior who warred against fear.” I said as a tear rolled down my right eye.And in a few seconds, the wolves snarled and pounced on her, tearing every bit of her into pieces, and she was no longer recognizable. This was so traumatizing to see, but I had to be strong in such a situation. I thought of Stefan, and how he would have felt, the moment he found out that I was nowhere to
