MELISSA’S POV.I went out of my room, and was greeted with an aroma that got me salivating. Was Layla cooking? I got to the kitchen, and to my surprise, it was Stefan, cooking. Only God knew how he managed to look cool and hot, while cooking. He was breath-taking, and it was hard for me to get my eyes, off him.“You are awake.” He said, with a smile as he noticed that I was there, with him.“Yeah, I am. I thought you left.”“I didn’t. Even if I were to leave, without waking you, I could leave a text. By the way, have your seat. I’m done, making breakfast.”I tried to hide the fact that I was salivating as I wanted to keep my cool. Then Layla came in, from outside.“You went out?” I asked.“Yes, I did. I went to get a few things. Whoa! Mr. Stefan, you’re done, cooking.”“Yes.”I smiled, and I felt proud that my boyfriend knew how to cook, and was quite useful, in so many ways.~After eating breakfast, Stefan and I, went to work together, and we got there, early enough. While Edward a
STEFAN’S POV.It was closing, and I was excited to see Melissa. Her presence had been really making me happy, and grateful that I didn’t give up, many years ago. I was going to make her feel like a queen for this impromptu date. She wasn’t going to see it coming. Then I decided to order flowers, which came in before it was too late.I stood up and went out of my office to get to my car, and then call her to ask where she was, but then, I met Alicia, who was just coming in from wherever she went to.“Good evening, boss. Wow. Are those flowers for me?” She asked, with a smile on her face.“No.” I replied her, with a straight face.“Then I hope it isn’t for Melissa. You remember our deal, right?”‘Actually, it is for her. Can’t I give her flowers, anymore?”“No, you can’t. I think it’s best if I collect those flowers, so when she sees you, she wouldn’t think it was meant for her.” She said, with a coy smile, then gently collected the flowers from me.Then my phone began to ring, and it
MELISSA’S POV.I was so scared as I couldn’t remove my wristband to fight against him. Not in front of Layla, and what if I also ate Layla, up. I closed my eyes in fear, but then his hand didn’t touch me. Instead, I heard him groaning. I opened my eyes, slowly, only to find Edward, holding and twisting his hand.“How dare you try to stab her!” he shouted in anger, and then pushed him to the wall, then collected the knife from him, and threw it away.Edward began to beat him up, until he surrendered. That was one thing I didn’t know about Edward. I never knew that he was capable of defending himself, or anyone out there. Which means he was not only wise, but he had strength. Layla ran to me, crying hard.“I’m so sorry. I was so scared. I thought you were going to die. I was already having thoughts of not forgiving myself if he really had his way, in killing you.” She cried out.“It’s fine. It’s fine. It’s not your fault.” I said as I patted her. Then I watched as the man ran away from
MELISSA'S POV.Fear gripped me, and I became anxious. If my models are not on stage, how am I going to work things out."Uhm... Just a second." Lee Ho said.He totally looked like he was panicking and that look made me to get teary, but then I remembered the positive motivation, which Stefan gave me. I didn't want to let him down, and as I looked at him, I could see that he was showing any signs of disappointment or sort."What are we going to do?" Lee ho, asked."Nothing can stop us from doing so well, Lee ho. I'll act as the model." I said, the went to the changing room, and put on one of the wears I would love them to see.As I got to the stage, everyone looked surprised, but yet, they all began to clap, and I could see how stunned they were, while I was showcasing the wears to them. I had never had the confidence to be a model, but Stefan who allowed me to act as a model for a company in Korea, back then, made me know that I was capable of being a model. After the show case, I de
STEFAN'S POV."Mr. Stefan, I really enjoyed these three days project launch, and I must say, I am impressed." Mr. Kim Mike smiled."Thank you for the opportunity to show you what we can do. I am so certain that my workers enjoyed working with yours, and they did well.""Exactly.""By the way, I'll like to suggest a week's vacation from the whole stress, and to commend the workers for their good job. What do you see to it?" I asked, hoping he would consent to it, or his schedule would permit that."Oh! That's great, actually. Unfortunately, I have to fly back to Korea, on Monday, so I am afraid it would have to be cut short to a three days vacation. Tomorrow can be an off say for them all to rest, and probably prepare, if they need to.""Alright, that's noted, and fine with me." I smiled. We continued to talk as we headed out of the company, for a meeting we both had.~MELISSA'S POVWith curiosity getting the best of me, I decided to go over to where she wanted us to meet. It wasn't
MELISSA’S POV.“Warnings of death? I…I…I do not understand. Does it pertain to us?” I asked, baffled at his statement.“We can’t stay here, for long. Come with me.” He said as he picked up his guitar.“No! What do you mean? I can’t just follow you because of something which I am not even certain that your statement is accurate about it.” I retorted.“Look…”My phone began to ring, and when I checked who was calling, it was Stefan.“Hello.”“Listen to me, carefully, Melissa. I need you to stay in your house. Do not go out. I will come over to you.” He said, like he was in a haste.“What’s going on? I am not in the house, currently. I am with Layla, at the beach.” “Shit! Oh, no. Look, run quickly, and get a cab that would bring you and Layla, over to my house. Something really bad is going to happen, soon.” He said. Then I looked at Robin, then back at the phone.“Are you perhaps, talking about the monster spiky stones?” I asked, hoping it wasn’t really related to that.“How did you k
MELISSA’S POV.Even as I said my last prayers, I knew in me that I wasn’t ready to die. I shut my eyes, tight, and held my fingers, tight as my heart began to race in anxiousness.Suddenly, someone grabbed me, and it felt as if the wind was carrying me somewhere else. I was too scared to open my eyes to see what was going on, but in a few minutes, everything seemed peaceful.“Melissa, are you alright?” I heard a voice which seemed like Layla’s.Then I opened my eyes to see what was going on, and to my relief, I was in Stefan’s house. Both Layla and the man we had helped were safe, too.“Oh, my goodness.” I broke into silent tears, and covered my face.I had such a near death experience, and I was just so grateful that Stefan had come right in time, to save me.“You are safe now, Melissa.” He said as he hugged me deeply. The warmth of his hug could be likened to the one of a mother’s. I felt calm, and happy, and relieved.“Thank you, Stefan. Thank you so much for watching out for me.”
STEFAN'S POV.I had never seen such happen before in the duration of years, which I have lived. Suddenly, a bright light shone right in front of me, and I had to use both my hands to shield my eyes from becoming blind."Open your eyes now, Stefan." I heard a soothing voice, say."The light is too bright for me to risk opening my eyes.""It is bright, but it will not harm you. I am the one beaming with light, so I have power over it."I was curious, so my curiosity also overshadowed my doubt. As I opened my eyes, I was mesmerized by the beauty I saw. It was a woman, with blue, dreamy eyes, and a perfect face structure. She was gorgeous, and although, I couldn't see from her waist, down, because of the bright light, my eyes didn't fail to catch sight of her tattoo. It was a tattoo of the moon on her arms, and forehead. "Oh, no." I exclaimed as I figured out who it was, and I bowed down."Raise your head, Stefan. I have accepted your greeting." The moon goddess said."To what do I owe
