AUTHOR’S POV

“Now would be a good time to help me Goddess. If I die tonight, I'm coming up there to torment you.” Evelyn threatened as she hid between the pillars close to the entrance watching as guards went to and fro.

Her mind reeled with ideas on how she could get past the guards and also have access to the King’s office. The Realm was so large, that his office could be anywhere. And it's not like it would have a huge signboard hovering over it with the name The Alpha’s office on it.

She waited for what felt like hours and finally, a regular maid walked towards the guards with a wide golden tray. Evelyn couldn't hear them from where she stood but right before her eyes, the maid was granted access to leave.

Evelyn grinned with joy as she finally found a way, she looked up to the sky, “Thank you Goddess. All hail the Celestial Moon above.”

Evelyn waited for a few minutes before running back into the palace, running towards the Kitchen. It was the only place that was always bustl
