AUTHOR’S POV

Evelyn immediately grabbed Mitchell by her hair and tugged her out of the room.

“Jeez! Evelyn! What gives?”

“I've warned you on so many occasions not to barge into the Princess’s room like that.” Evelyn glared at the young lycan and Mitchell immediately looked down feeling guilty.

“Sorry, I was just so happy and excited to tell her about the upcoming Moon Festival.”

“Really? She's been depressed and moody all week and all you can think about is talking to her about the festival?” Evelyn scoffed.

“No, that's not what I meant. Please don't misunderstand me. I just…I wanted to–”

“That's enough Evelyn. Stop scolding her. She made a mistake, that's all.” Odessa said from the bed, her voice a low whisper but Evelyn and Mitchell were still able to hear her. “Come in and shut the door behind you. Stop talking about me like I'm not here.”

Mitchell walked in first while Evelyn walked in after shutting the door behind her.
