Cassian stared at his brother as he worked silently. It was very obvious that Caesar was working undercover for some shitty ass reason, but why do it in the Lycan realm?

He couldn't remember any case that they might have been working on that would warrant his brother to go undercover in their pack. If it had been in any other Kingdom or another part of the realm, he would have understood.

But here? It looked very fishy.

Caesar was quick to attend to Cassian, and he deeply apologized to the two ladies who had been waiting for the fish they'd purchased. He was trying to get rid of Cassian quickly so that he could go back to work.

Cindy wrapped her arms around Cassian's bicep and tugged him a little so that his attention would be back on her.

“Let's leave.” She whispered into his ears. The man looked like he was about to protest, but Cindy quickly chipped in, “We can't just stand here and watch him. It would interfere with his work, and people might begin to suspect him
