Leo's Surprise 2

Leo had come to check on me probably thinking I was not okay because of what happened on the call.

"Okay, tell me I will be with him soon," I said to the servant and quickly changed the dress I was wearing.

I grabbed a straight loose dress. I didn't want anything that would make him attracted to me. I looked at my face in the mirror and quickly went to the washroom. I splashed some water onto my face and dried it with the towel. I wrapped my hair into a messy bun and took off my earrings. I stared out of the bathroom and exited my room heading downstairs.

"Oliv," Leo walked up to me the moment I descended the staircase. "Are you alright? You went silent while we were chatting," he said.

"I am fine. I was distracted a little," I explained trying to remain composed.

"I came over to make sure you were okay. I knew Vera was at work," Leo said walking me to the sofa like he lived here with us.

"You didn't go to work today?" I asked as it was a Friday.

"I did. I was returning to the office
