Visiting My Parents 2

"Mum, Oliv is here," Austin announced as soon as we entered the poolside.

"Olivia?" I heard my mum say as she turned around to look at me.

"Mum," I said, emotions taking over my body and tears filling my eyes.

She had aged with some of her hair turning grey but was still pretty. I ran into her arms as she opened them to receive as soon as she stood up from the chair.

"Olivia," she said my name.

"Mum," I said and began to cry.

"What is she doing here?" I heard the deep voice of my father.

"Calm down father," Austin intervened.

My mum put me behind her shielding me from my dad who appeared to be angry.

"Honey, you have not seen your daughter in three years. This is not the first thing you do," my mum said to my father as I peeped at him from behind my mother.

"Three years ago, my daughter died. I don't have a daughter," I heard my father say and he walked into the house with Austin going after him.

My heart was crushed into multiple pieces. This reaction was exactly what I feared. My mum
