Strange Woman in the Office

Olivia's POV

I lay on my bed in deep thought. I know nothing about this Alex guy aside from the warnings from Vera and the fact that my family dislikes him. This is my second encounter with him and I feel Vera is right about the person he is.

I turned to face the other side of my bed still lost in thought. What would be my true reaction towards him if Vera had not said anything about him being a scumbag? How would I look at him if I didn't know I was once married to him?

All these thoughts ran through my head and I was not sure how to feel about them all. Is he a scumbag or I feel that way because Vera said he was?

My mind drifted off to the party scene. Of course, he didn't act like a gentleman at all but come to think of it, he was there for me, his wife. I thought and frowned. Ex-wife, I repeated and turned again on my bed. I recalled his face and features.
