I walked Vera to her parked car and said goodbye to her after a hug.

"I told my friend you were interested in the PA job. He said you shouldn't worry about the missing certificate. If you have a CV it is enough to do the verification they need," Vera informed me.

"I don't even have my CV. I don't remember where I kept them," I informed her.

"Just put something together and send it over. Monday, I will send it to him to start the process," Vera said and got behind the wheel.

I took a step back and watched her drive out of the compound. I exhaled deeply walking back into the house. I spent most of my time with my brother and my mum. My dad was barely around.
