CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: MISS MICHIEVOUS
The two Garcias went back to their home safely. But because of the incident that happened earlier, an unusual sense of feeling rose unto the air.
Raine, having the feeling of guilt about the case she handled, sat down the sofa and took her book from the table. She opened it and headed back to where she had left.
However, the overprotected Vanessa, headed back to her room without even letting out any word out of her mouth.
With her feeling upset to her beloved niece, she took a quick glance on her from the staircase then continued to walk upstairs.
After a while, Vanessa came back downstairs in a hurry, putting her police badge on.
Having her curiousity, Raine put down her book and her gaze dropped down to Vanessa.
"Where are you going?" she asked.
"No time to explain," Vanessa answered. "I'll see you later!" She continued to walk towards her car and immediately dashed towards the road.
