My beautiful mate

“What time is it?” She groggily asked me.

“Just past seven. Time for lunch. Come on, let's go eat.” I grabbed her hand and pulled her up and onto the bathroom floor before leading her downstairs.

When we arrived downstairs I saw that everyone was already sitting at the dining area. Everyone greeted us and we took our seats at the table. When we were done eating we headed to the living room and played monopoly for a few hours. After the game ended I got up and helped everyone clean the dishes.

Everyone else left pretty early so it was just me and Claire left cleaning up. It was already dark outside by the time we finished, so I suggested that we watch a movie. Once we reached the couch Claire climbed onto the seat next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder, wrapping her arms around my torso and putting her feet in my lap.

I put my arm around her shoulders and cuddled her, rubbing slow circles on her side. A couple minutes passed and I noticed Claire's breathing gradually become slow
