So familiar

As I sat back down, the lights went out, signaling the start of the movie. I rested my back against the chair and placed my feet on the seat in front of me. Within seconds I heard the familiar voice.

It was one of my favorite musicals, and it was so romantic. When the scene finally came on, I closed my eyes and listened intently to every note. At first, I thought this might be a little boring for Jake, who had never seen movies before. But soon I realised that he enjoyed it just fine. His eyes sparkled with anticipation as he listened attentively to each line of dialogue.

After the movie ended, I opened my eyes. Jake was looking at me with his sparkling blue eyes and a smile plastered across his face.

"Wasn't it beautiful?" He exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Yes." I smiled.

He leaned forward slightly, causing our faces to be inches apart.

"Come here." He whispered huskily, before planting a soft kiss on my lips.
