"I wanted to apologize for yesterday." He stated.

"Apologize?" I blinked.

"Yes. I shouldn't have left like that. I know that you were upset and I just wanted to make sure that you're okay. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings and made you feel that way." He apologized.

I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and rested my head against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and held onto me tightly. We stayed like that for a while and just stared out into space. After a while, Jake broke the silence.

"Hey Claire." He called out.

"Yeah?" I replied, moving away from him to look at him.

"Would it be too soon if I kissed you?" He smirked.
